Feature 01 · The backing

Grips like glue. Lifts like it was never there.

No adhesive, no tape. The back of every tile is a soft micro-grip layer that clings to smooth floors on contact — it holds under a dog’s push-off, then peels up clean when you want to wash a square or move the path.

  1. 1 Peel the filmEach tile arrives with a clear protective film over the backing.
  2. 2 Press it downOnto a clean, dry, smooth floor. It grips on contact.
  3. 3 Lift whenever you likeWash one square or re-lay the path. No residue, no marks.

Works on

  • Smooth tile
  • Sealed hardwood
  • Laminate
  • Vinyl & LVP

Not for

  • Carpet & rugs
  • Raw or unsealed concrete
  • Unfinished, oiled or waxed wood
  • Textured or non-slip tile

Lay on a clean, dry floor. If a tile loses grip after washing, rinse the backing with water and let it air-dry — the grip comes back.

Same dog. Same couch. Same jump.

See the difference?

Bare floor
On the tiles

The damage you can’t see. Until you can.

They’ll always be our babies. They just won’t stay young forever.

Every jump off the couch, every skid on the way to the door, is a small, silent strain — on the wrists that take the landing, the elbows that catch the slide, the hips that power the scramble back up. None of it shows immediately, and that shouldn’t be your cue to think everything is okay.

By the time the pain shows, the wear is already done. And they can’t tell you it’s coming.

PawProof™ takes the surprise out of the landing — grip that stops the slide before it strains a ligament, and a cushioned pile that softens the impact for the sneaky jumpers. Because they’re not ignoring you when they launch off the couch. They’re just that happy you’re home.

The details that matter

Built for the mess, the corners and the oops.

A hand lifting one tile with a water splash on it while the rest of the path stays down
Accidents

Catches the oops.

Water-bowl splashes, muddy paws, the odd accident — it lands on one square, not your whole rug. Pull that square, rinse it, press it back. Or drop in a fresh one.

Scissors trimming a tile to fit around a doorway
Cut to fit

Cut to fit. Keeps its grip.

Doorways, corners, the leg of the couch — trim a tile with scissors and it still grips, still lifts clean. No awkward gap where the path stops short, and nothing to send back.

One tile being put into a washing machine while the path stays down
Wash one square

Pull one. Wash one. Done.

No dragging a rug to the laundromat. Lift the square that copped it, wash it, press it back — the rest of the path never moves. And when a square has done its time, it’s easily replaceable in seconds.
