Have sealed hardwood? Test one tile in a hidden spot for a few days before laying the full path. Check the finish when you lift it.

Carpet for their paws. A no-glue backing for your floor.

Carpet surface: A ribbed surface for your dog to walk on.
No-glue backing: Remove the protective film, then press onto the floor.
Smooth, dry floor: The surface underneath matters to the grip.

Lift from a corner to remove a square for cleaning or to change the layout. You can cover the route they use without carpeting the whole room.

Lay out the route before removing the film, so you can check the fit and colour pattern first.

1Prepare

Clean the floor and let it dry fully. Check that the surface is suitable.

2Peel

Remove the clear protective film from the back of each tile.

3Position & press

Lay the tiles edge to edge and press them down. Check the corners sit flat.

Need to fit a corner? Measure and mark the tile, then trim with scissors. Check the layout before cutting.

Clean the square that needs it. The rest of the path can stay in place.

1Lift

Lift the affected tile from a corner. Check the floor underneath.

2Hand or machine wash

Rinse under the tap for a quick clean, or pop the tile in the washing machine for a fuller wash.

3Dry & replace

Let the tile air-dry fully. Place it back only when the floor is dry too.

After a spill or pet accident, lift the wet tile and dry the floor underneath. Do not leave a damp tile in the walking path.

Lay on a clean, dry floor. If a tile loses grip after washing, rinse the backing with water and let it air-dry and the grip comes back. If a tile gets wet, lift it, dry the floor and the tile, then press it back down. On sealed hardwood, test one tile in a hidden spot for a few days before laying the whole path.
